Honoring Former Gardenside Pastors
Gardenside has implemented a plan to honor our former pastors.
Our first pastor, Dr. Roy Fowler, was honored August 23, 2009, which was our 52nd anniversary. Our second pastor,
Ed Orberson, passed away on December 17, 2009, while plans were being made to honor him. Bro. Orberson was preceded
in death by his wife, Sheila. Our sympathy goes out to the Orberson family. We are trying to locate our third pastor,
William E. Miller. Bro. Miller was pastor of Gardenside from 1967-1971. If anyone has information on how we may
contact Bro. Miller, please let Marvin Reed know.

The Lexington Passion Play

The sign up sheets are on the bulletin board outside David’s office. Children that plan to participate must be signed
up by a parent. Also, please remember that Fayette County’s spring break is during the play. There is still time to sign
up to be in the crowd scenes. If you would like to participate see Cheryl or Gloria as soon as possible. There is also
a sign-up sheet for those who would like to help with things other than being a cast member.

very much like to hear from you about Gardenside's new Church website. This is still very much a
work in progress. Sometimes you may get the "under construction" page but, hey, we have to start
somewhere... right? Do you have updates you would like posted? Perhaps you see one of my many
spellin' errs. You can report it or just drop us a line and let us know how we are doing. We would
love to hear from you. E-mail us at: Gardenside Web feedback.
Hope to see you at Gardenside.
