The Lottie Moon mission offering supports over 5,000 missionaries worldwide. This offering supported Ami Dale in the Middle East, Lindsey Faulconer in Myanmar and currently supports Kevin Henderson in China. This past year the offering fell short approximately $30 million dollars. Because of this, the number of missionaries currently abroad and those preparing for mission trips next year has been reduced. The effort to reach the people of the world with the Gospel has been hampered tremendously. For the next two weeks, June 28th and July 5th, we will take up a special offering for international missions. Please prayerfully consider what God would have you give so that all nations may be reached with the Gospel. Please make your check payable to Gardenside and mark it “Lottie Moon Offering”.

   If you would like to have a CD of the Father’s Day service together with the renewal of wedding vows ceremony, please call the church office. There will be no charge for the CD.

   If you missed the Sunday morning service we would remind you that our Sunday morning service is brodcast during the week on Insight Channel 17 on Sunday at 11:00 am, and on Insight Channel 14 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 12 noon. Be sure to set your VCR or DVR.

   Yes we are still collecting colored pencils, construction paper, and reward stickers to send to our mission partners, Barbara and AJ Hensley, for them to use in their mission work in Brazil. An on-going project will be collecting toys from kids meals. There are boxes located throughout the church for your donations.
