We've been waiting for you! It's true, because we believe that every person who comes into the circle of
this fellowship was sent by God Himself. It is no accident that we have the pleasure of meeting you even if it is by way
of the internet. Above all else we want to express Christ's love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We are eager to
get to know you and we are excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our church.
Gardenside Baptist Church was organized in 1957. We are located in the center of a long established business
and residential section of Lexington. We are a medium sized church aligned with the Southern Baptist Convention.
As a mission minded body, we fully participate in the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention,
Kentucky Baptist Convention and the Elkhorn Baptist Association. You will find previews of our various ministries
within this website.
 Gardenside is a very active congregation with
ministries in Bible teaching, music, missions and outreach along with various age-level ministries including preschool/children,
youth, college and adult. Dedicated leaders also direct ministries specific to the men and women of our congregation.
We are delighted that you have taken a few moments to acquaint yourself with Gardenside Baptist Church. It will not take
long for you to discover that this is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. Growing together, we worship,
we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth.
